The poster as an art form. Express course in Iceland

Between 25-29 September 2017 at The Iceland Academy of the Arts will take place workshops provided by professors: Leszek Żebrowski, Monika Starowicz and Sebastian Kubica from Poland. All of them are teachers in field of poster making at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice and the University of Silesia, Institute of Fine Arts in Cieszyn.

 

The course ‘The poster as an art form’ is dedicated to visual communication as well as fine art (printmaking) students. One week intensive workshop in poster design/making is organised by Iceland Academy of the Arts, Reykjavik with the non-profit organization Stowarzyszenie Ogrody Sztuki and the Poster Gallery in Kraków.

There are two places open specially for CIRRUS students. Cirrus is a nordic-baltic network of art and design education at universities from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
